She is a paralegal at Poubom and Partners Law Firm, with great skills in research, consultancy, and conflict resolution and community advocate. Kien holds a Masters degree in International Law (LLM) from the University of Buea and is firmly rooted in Environmental and Human Rights law.. She doubles as a part-time lecturer at the University of Buea and currently defending a Ph.D. in Environmental Law.
Kien possesses a passion and affinity for legal practice, focusing on land matters and advocacy on Environmental Justice. The neglect on the environment and its repercussions on communities is her motivation to keep on working to ensure and enhance community participation (Environmental Justice) in governmental policies.
